Most people know the story of God parting the Red Sea so that the children of Israel could walk across and escape the Egyptians. But, there is another story of God doing the same thing in the Book of Joshua when He parted the Jordon River so the Children of Israel could go into the Promised land. In the second story though there is one difference. The water would not part until the priests stepped into it. That required faith. Today may be a day that you need to step out on faith. God has called you to do something and fear has paralyzed you. Read the passage again and be assured if God called you to it He will bring you through it. Take that step of faith today and see where it leads.
