Looking at the news yesterday the DOW fell over 500 points. That is bad but what about the train wreck in L.A. this weekend over 20 people were killed. That is bad but what about Haiti trying to recover from two hurricanes. Thousands left without anything at all. No water to drink, no food, no medical help. We don't have to look very far to find people who are hurting. I will not put my trust in temporary worldly things. No matter what is going on we should turn to God. He is our Refuge and Strength. it's like you were in my living room last night or could read my mind. It's so easy to let the things of this world get us down, and not so easy to remember that the one who created us is the one who can comfort us, although that should be the easiest thing of all, we don't always let things be that simple. God never gives us more than we can handle, I just have to remember that I can only handle it with his help. Thank you for today's topic, it's just the reality check I needed.
